Frequently Asked Questions

Find quick answers to common questions

How do I create an account?

MAMMOTH RECRUIT uses Apple Sign-In for secure and easy account creation. Simply download the app from the App Store, tap “Sign in with Apple,” and follow the prompts. Your account will be created automatically, and you can start exploring schools right away.

Is my data secure with Apple Sign-In?

Yes! Apple Sign-In is one of the most secure authentication methods available. Apple doesn't track your activity in our app, and you can even choose to hide your email address.

How many schools are in the database?

MAMMOTH RECRUIT includes over 2,000 schools with athletic programs across all competitive levels: NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III, NAIA, and NJCAA. We cover more than 40 different sports.

What information is available for each school?

Each school profile includes comprehensive data across four key areas: Athletics (sports offered, division level, conference), Academics (admissions requirements, popular majors, graduation rates), Admissions (acceptance rates, test score requirements), and Cost (tuition, average financial aid, net price).

Can I save schools to compare later?

Absolutely! The Favorites feature lets you save any school to your personal list. Your favorites sync across devices when you're signed in. This is available to all users, including those on the free plan.

What are athletic and academic profiles used for?

Your athlete's profile includes academic information (GPA, test scores, class rank) and athletic information (sport, position, stats, achievements). This profile can be shared with college coaches and programs to give them a quick overview of your student-athlete's qualifications.

What's the difference between Free and Basic plans?

The Free plan gives you full access to search and explore all 2,000+ schools, save favorites, and create profiles. The Basic plan adds powerful process tracking features: manage recruiting activities, track admissions deadlines, monitor financial aid applications, and get step-by-step guidance.

How do I upgrade to a paid plan?

You can upgrade directly within the app. Go to your Profile tab, tap “Subscriptions,” and choose the plan that works best for you. All subscriptions are processed securely through Apple's App Store.

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Go to Settings on your iPhone, tap your Apple ID, then tap Subscriptions. Find MAMMOTH RECRUIT and tap Cancel.

Is there a family plan?

Currently, subscriptions are per-account. However, if you have multiple student-athletes in your family, each can have their own profile within a single account. We're exploring family plan options for a future update.

The app isn't loading data. What should I do?

First, check your internet connection. If you're connected but still having issues, try: 1) Close and reopen the app, 2) Sign out and sign back in, 3) Check for app updates in the App Store, 4) Restart your device. If problems persist, contact us at support@mammothrecruit.com.

My favorites aren't syncing. How do I fix this?

Favorites sync requires you to be signed in with Apple Sign-In. Make sure you're signed in on all devices. If you're signed in and still having issues, try signing out and back in to refresh the sync.
